Overview
Timing is everything at Burj Khalifa, and sunset slots sell out weeks ahead. We hold them for you. Your guide meets you at Dubai Mall, walks you past the queue, and you're on the 124th and 125th floors as the sun sets over the Gulf — city lights switching on beneath you, the desert glowing to the east.
Back on the ground, instead of jostling on the promenade you board a traditional abra on Burj Lake for the 7:30 pm fountain show: 6,600 lights, water cannons reaching 150 metres, and the tower above you. We finish with a short walk through Souk Al Bahar and, if you like, a table recommendation for dinner.

Sunset slot at Burj Khalifa was sold out everywhere else — DXB.IST had it. The abra ride for the fountain show instead of standing in the crowd was the smartest thing we did in Dubai.Good to know
