Old City Heritage Walk: Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Topkapı Palace & Basilica Cistern

Hagia Sophia first, while the light pours through the dome. Then the Blue Mosque and its 20,000 İznik tiles (timed around prayer). Topkapı Palace follows — the Imperial Council, the treasury with the Spoonmaker's Diamond, the Sacred Relics rooms (important for Muslim guests — we explain the etiquette), and the Harem. After an Ottoman-style lunch at a family restaurant, we descend into the Basilica Cistern's 336 columns and finish at the Hippodrome.
